Product Details

Cooler for the summer, warmer for the winter.

Our Flat Sheet (or Top Sheet) even doubles up as a cape for aspiring super heroes.

Our fabric is made from eucalyptus that's grown using 95% less water than cotton, no farmable land, and zero herbicides or pesticides. It's naturally hypoallergenic, resistant to bacteria growth and has the same sleep benefits as conventional silk. As with all our sleep products, we only use what the planet would want us to.

We love using flat sheets to better control sleep temperature, and also make laundry days way easier without needing to wash your duvet cover quite as regularly.

Care Instructions

Caring for eucalyptus sheets involves a few specific steps to ensure they remain soft, durable, and maintain their quality. Our Eucalyptus sheets are made from Tencel, which is a fibre derived from the eucalyptus tree. Here's a comprehensive guide on how to care for your eucalyptus sheets:

Washing

  1. Gentle Cycle: Use a gentle cycle on your washing machine to avoid agitating the fibres too much.
  2. Cold Water: Wash the sheets in cold water to prevent shrinking and maintain the colour and integrity of the fabric.
  3. Mild Detergent: Use a mild, liquid detergent that is free from bleach, fabric softeners, and enzymes, which can damage the fibres.

Drying

  1. Line Dry Only: If possible, line dry the sheets. This is the gentlest method and helps maintain the softness of the fabric.

Ironing

  1. Low Setting: If ironing is necessary, use a low heat setting. High heat can damage the fibers.
  2. Steam: Use the steam setting on your iron for better results without applying too much direct heat.

Storage

  1. Cool, Dry Place: Store the sheets in a cool, dry place to prevent mildew and mold.
  2. Avoid Plastic: Avoid storing them in plastic bags or containers, which can trap moisture and cause mildew.

General Tips

  1. Avoid Overloading: Do not overload the washing machine to ensure the sheets have enough space to move and get thoroughly cleaned.
  2. Separate Colors: Wash eucalyptus sheets separately from other fabrics, especially those with zippers or rough textures, to prevent abrasion and pilling.
  3. Avoid Bleach: Bleach and fabric softeners can degrade the fibres over time, so it's best to avoid them.

Following these guidelines will help you maintain the quality and longevity of your eucalyptus sheets, keeping them soft and comfortable for a long time.

The material, packaging, and shipping time was all very good. However, the dimensions of the sheet are really long compared to the duvet in the same size. I have a king size in both and the the flat sheet hangs over the sides of the bed a good 20 cm longer than the duvet. It looks really bad so I have to tuck the sheet in. Not ideal, wish the sizing was more consistent.
