3. Pay later with Klarna

Klarna will send you email reminders when it’s time to pay. Simply log into your Klarna account and pay your installments (or in one go if you want). It’s important to know how many payments Klarna will take and how long you have to pay, so always read the agreement carefully before completing your order!

If you choose Klarna at the checkout, you’ll be offered two payment options, both letting you buy now and pay for your bedding at a later date.

1. Buy now, pay in 30 days

Complete your order today and pay in 30 days with Klarna. This lets you return anything you don’t want to keep without the hassle of requesting a refund.

2. Buy now, pay later in 3 installments

Split the cost of your order into three affordable Klarna installments and spread your payments over 90 days. You’ll make the first of three repayments 30 days after completing the order, and the subsequent two 30 and 60 days later, with no interest or added fees.

What are my payment options with Klarna?

When buying bedding on Klarna, you have two options: Buy now, pay in 30 days: complete your order and pay the outstanding balance at your convenience within 30 days. If you return any items, you’ll not be charged. Pay later in 3 installments: complete your order and pay the outstanding balance across three convenient and affordable installments spread over three months.

Does Klarna automatically take payment?

Klarna will automatically take payment from the debit or credit card you entered at checkout, according to your payment schedule. You can set up reminders to let you know when payment will be taken.

Why is my payment not authorised?

When paying with Klarna, bad credit or a limited credit history might restrict the amount you can spend. For instance, you may have already capped your credit spending limit. You will be permitted to complete your purchase by other means if your Klarna payment is unauthorised.

Why have I not been offered pay later in 3?

‘Buy now, pay later in 3’ is offered based on a series of criteria, including your order value, previous order history, and item availability. Klarna will also conduct a quick soft search of your credit profile to assess your affordability. If eligible, you will be offered the option to shop with Klarna pay.

Can I pay before the due date?

You can pay for your order at any point after receiving your Klarna pay plan. All you need to do is head to your Klarna account and settle your outstanding Klarna installments.

I’ve been asked to go to Klarna’s site. Is this correct?

If you’ve chosen to pay with Klarna, you will receive an email from Klarna upon placing your order. In this email, you will be directed to the Klarna website where you can log into your account and settle your outstanding payment.

What happens if I don't pay for my order?

If you fail to pay your Klarna installments, Klarna will attempt to collect payment from the debit or credit card you entered at checkout. If Klarna is unable, they will make one further attempt to automatically collect payment two days later. If this fails, Klarna will issue you a statement for the full balance, and notify you when payment is due. For unpaid orders after this period, Klarna may also use a debt collection agency to recover the outstanding balance.

Will a credit search take place against me?

When choosing our shop now, pay later options, Klarna may run eligibility checks. This is called a soft credit search, and is only visible to Klarna and you – and never has an impact on your credit score.

Is my payment information safe?

When you buy now, pay later, all payment details are processed securely by Klarna. This safeguards your card and payment information when shopping online.

I've received a statement, but I've not yet received my goods

If you’ve not yet received your order, you won’t need to start making Klarna payments. If your order is delayed, simply log into your Klarna account and ‘report a problem’ to put your repayment plan on pause until you receive your order.

What happens if I return my order?

If you return your Ethical Bedding order, you’ll receive a new statement from Klarna to reflect the updated amount borrowed. This will be issued as soon as your return has been processed.

I have cancelled my order. How long will it take until I receive my refund?

As soon as your return or cancellation has been registered by Ethical Bedding, your refund will be processed. Klarna refunds often take 5-7 days to process.

I have asked for a refund. How will I be refunded?

All refunds will be issued to the credit or debit card you originally used to pay for your bedding on Klarna.

What happens to my statement, when I've returned the goods?

If you’ve returned any or all of your order, Ethical Bedding will notify Klarna and you will receive an updated statement and payment schedule reflecting the outstanding amount.

I haven’t received an email with my statement/payment information

If you’ve not yet received your ‘buy now, pay later’ statement and schedule, you can find all order information within your Klarna account.

How can I change my email address?

To change the email address that Klarna uses to contact you, you’ll need to first log into your online account and deactivate ‘Pay later’ in settings. You can now update your personal details. To reactivate, simply make a purchase and select Klarna payment options.

How can I deactivate pay later?

To deactivate ‘Pay later’ functionality, simply log into your Klarna account and navigate to the ‘member account’ page. To reactivate, simply place a future order with Ethical Bedding and buy sheets, duvets, or pillows on Klarna.
