How it works
Prepare Your Dye
Weigh out your dye to fabric gram ratio and place in a large container.
Add Warm Water
Dilute 100g of Botanical Powder Dye with 10-15 litres of warm water, stir and strain to remove any lumps.
Soak Your Fabric
Combine your dye liquid with your fabrics and leave to soak for 30-60 minutes.
Wash & Air Dry
Once your fabric reaches the desired hue, wring and hang dry.
Top Tip:
Ensure enough space for fabric to move freely — especially when using buckets or tubs. For deeper shades, use more dye or soak longer.

Naturally - Botanicals
At Wild Hue™, we believe in the gentle power of nature. That's why every one of our dyes is made purely from 100% organic botanicals - no synthetics, no nasties, just plants with stories to tell. From the golden blooms of Tagetes Erecta, cherished in celebrations across the globe, to the roots of Rubia Tinctorum, which once coloured ancient tapestries in deep, passionate reds, our powders are crafted with care and tradition.

Artisan Made - Family Traditions
Our natural dye powders are created in partnership with skilled artisans in India, where the craft of botanical dyeing runs deep-woven into family traditions and passed down through generations.
These are not just techniques, but stories - held in the hands of elders and taught to the next with care, patience, and pride.
Our partners honour traditional methods, using time-tested processes that protect the integrity of each plant while coaxing out its fullest, most beautiful colour. From hand-harvesting to sun-drying and slow grinding, every step is done with intention and reverence for the land.
